SAFE RESISTANCE DEGREE TESTING ACCORDING TO EUROPEAN STANDARD EN 1143–1

When testing the burglary resistance of a safe, the safe is attacked with various tools. For each resistance level, the subject must partially break through it with a cutting disc within a given time. If this time is exceeded, this part of the test is considered successful. A burglar needs 31 times longer to partially break through (100 x 100 mm opening) a safe with resistance level V than a safe with resistance level I. The WALDIS safe for weapons and other valuables meets at least protection class with resistance level 3 and higher.
